Dear all,
I would be honored if you would consider supporting me on what will be my 5th (or 6th???) Block Island Paddle to support the beautiful organization that is Paddlers for Humanity. As anyone who knows me knows, being on or near (preferably on or IN!!) the water is my happy place, and I am truly grateful that I get to use my skills as a paddler to cross the 18 miles from Montauk to Block Island for such an incredible cause. Paddlers for Humanity, for those of you who don't know, is an all-volunteer, 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization based in East Hampton, NY dedicated to bettering the lives of children, with an emphasis on supporting innovative and comprehensive mental health programs for kids and youth, including greater early intervention outreach, resiliency, anti-bullying, and changing behavior through a focus on the positive. Plus, the P4H Catastrophic Fund supports families in crisis on the East End of Long Island.
My goal this year is to raise $2500, $1000 more than the minimum required to paddle.
